Universal Selecta looks back on the experience and atmosphere of PRIVATE WORLDS – Architectures for Exclusive Moments.
On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, Universal Selecta presented PRIVATE WORLDS – Architectures for Exclusive Moments at the US49 Event Space, an exhibition project curated by Anna Maria Conticelli.
The installation offered a reflection on the role of self-standing systems as true autonomous architectures, capable of creating intimate, flexible, and distinctive spaces beyond the traditional office environment.
The project featured the new Chakra Light, a natural evolution of the Chakra system, designed to further expand application possibilities through greater visual lightness, transparency, and design flexibility, alongside the new Green Box Outdoor, presented for the first time in an outdoor version complete with a dedicated covering system and solutions conceived to ensure comfort, protection, and architectural quality even in open-air settings.
Through four independent micro-architectures — The Collector Space, Sleeping Time, Tête-à-Tête, and Hobbies and Enjoys — PRIVATE WORLDS explored new ways of interpreting space, creating a dialogue between architectural research, construction quality, and the emotional dimension of contemporary living.
