Universal Selecta S.p.A. is a company based in Milan, specialized in solution for the distribution of interior spaces. It offers versatile solutions for any environment with a wide range of products suitable for all needs. Main strength is the noise reduction that Universal Selecta reaches with its products. Techniques and materials allow to create high performance and CE marked solutions. Since its debut, in the second half of the seventies, the company has developed, built and installed its own products, following the project from the meta-planning phase to its fulfilment. The company, established on the Italian territory, guarantees its presence on foreign markets through a branched logistical and sales network. Today Universal Selecta present CHAKRA, an architectural modular system for interiors supplied in kit which allows to create, quickly and easily, bespoke oasis of privacy. The philosophy of CHAKRA is well summarized by the evocative claim "The Inner Sound" inspired by the Buddhist religion that refers to the ability to create a harmonious "inner sound" opposed to the external noise of the world. Creating harmony and wellness in the open space working environments or in any common environment is in fact the main purpose of CHAKRA.

CHAKRA is a new type of prefabricated partition, covered by 5 patents; freestanding and technologically evolved, it requires no anchors on the ceiling nor on the floor. CHAKRA defines areas of privacy and ensures ideal conditions of acoustical comfort in any collective environment and under all conditions: the noise does not prevent the concentration inside; animated meetings do not disturb the quiet outside environment. CHAKRA uses a patented assembly system which ensures simplicity and speed in the assembly and flexibility for subsequent movements, extensions or configuration changes. Thanks to CHAKRA every noisy open space can be transformed, quickly and easily, in a complex and acoustically perfect environment. The modularity and versatility of CHAKRA allow flexible subdivisions that offer levels of privacy "tailored" for the different ways of working, needs and types of meeting. Even the hospital areas can now have oases for the analysis of reports, visits, meetings and any other need of having an environment separate from the context that hosts it.

Since its establishment, with a farsighted thought, Universal Selecta has redesigned working environments, giving a reconfiguration based on lightness and modularity, ensuring the acoustic comfort necessary to a proper working environment. Research and development of new solutions is the engine that since the 70's moves the company.
